Procurement and logistics
The questions coordinators ask before they book.
How do we purchase training as a public agency?
DFO HR Consulting invoices directly against your purchase order. A written quote on letterhead, a W-9, and business information are provided on request, usually within two business days, so the requisition can move without a back-and-forth.
Do you accept a purchase order rather than a credit card?
Yes. A purchase order is the standard path. Payment follows delivery by invoice, on your agency's normal terms.
Can you invoice through a training company or association instead?
Yes. DFO HR Consulting regularly works as a subcontracted instructor under a partner's brand and contract, as with the CPS HR Consulting AI in HR Today series. Training companies and associations should ask for instructor rates rather than the published direct rates.
Is training virtual or on site?
Both. Virtual sessions run on Zoom or Microsoft Teams. On-site sessions are delivered anywhere in California; travel is quoted separately for locations outside Los Angeles County.
How long is a session and how many people can attend?
A half-day is four hours and a full-day is eight. Sessions are designed for a full department or cohort; group size is confirmed when scheduling so exercises can be sized to the room.
Can the content be customized to our agency?
Yes. Every program can be adapted to your documents, workflows, and the AI tools your agency has approved. Customization is $500 per session and is quoted up front.
Is there a discount for booking several sessions?
Yes. Ten percent off for two or three sessions, fifteen percent for four or five, and twenty percent for six or more.
Do exercises use our confidential data?
No. Exercises use fictional scenarios and sanitized sample material. Agencies are never asked to enter confidential personnel records into a public AI tool, and the session covers exactly that boundary.
Which AI tools do you teach with?
Whatever your agency has approved, most often ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Google Gemini. The CHATPROMPT framework is tool-agnostic, so the skills carry across platforms.
What do participants leave with?
The CHATPROMPT framework, a prompt library for their function, the slides, and written guidance they can hand to a supervisor. Materials arrive one week before the session along with a paste-ready bio and headshot for your flyer.
